Food Day

Food Day is a national movement to demand real food; at Roger Williams University we commit to at least 20% of our ingredients be locally sourced and everything we make is from scratch, including our soup stocks! This Food Day we’re committing to lowering our sodium use and will do so offering no-sodium condiments, purchasing low-sodium soy sauce, and our low-fat dressings will be made from scratch to reduce any extra sodium content.
Along with our Bon Appetit kithcen committments, we’re also hosting a Food Day scavenger hunt! Students will be asked to find a list of Food Day facts around our campus cafe’s between Monday, October 21 – Thursday, October 24. Students with the most correct finds will be added to a pool and one lucky student will win a $500 Travel Voucher!
